Excellent stay at the Sunborn Yacht Hotel

Earlier in the year we purchased an experience package for a three course meal in London (plus cocktail) and a trip up the shard, both of which we will be reviewing separately.

The biggest question for us was, how are we travelling down and where are we staying. Again, that’s another story by itself, so we will skip that for now.

As you might know, we generally use Booking.com for our hotel arrangements and on this occasion we finally decided to stay at the London Sunborn Yacht Hotel, moored adjacent to the Excel centre in the heart of the Docklands.

No half measures with Kipps

Here I am again, reviewing a theatrical performance, which to be honest isn’t really my thing.

‘Allo ‘Allo – Encore Performing Arts

When my daughter Stacey asked me if I wanted to go and see ‘Allo ‘Allo on stage, I jumped at the chance – an avid fan for many years, I have all the box sets which I watch regularly and never miss an opportunity to ‘spoke in Fronch when I am at woke’ (Think about it)

Stacey writes reviews of shows on her own website and was invited by Encore Performing Arts to come and review their opening night in the Duchess Theatre Long Eaton. Naturally, she thought it a good idea to take along an ‘Allo ‘Allo expert to help critique the show. You can read her own review on her website www.amessinadress.co.uk

Non-stop action with the Hallé

We went to the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham tonight to see our favourite symphony orchestra, The Hallé Orchestra, based in Manchester.

Now I know what some of you are thinking. Yawn – how boring. But let me tell you, it’s anything but. Read on.

Vegas Disaster : Sue’s Mystery Illness

You just couldn’t make this stuff up could you?

After waiting months for her dream holiday to Las Vegas, we slowly watched the whole week crumble before our eyes. It was so disappointing for Sue and heartbreaking for me to watch.

Let me explain.
